Andrei Kalamkarov has been involved with photography for over 10 years. First starting as an event photographer for concerts, he quickly began to experiment with artistic possibilities.
Born in Moscow, Andrei migrated and travelled the world from a young age. His appreciation for culture, people and world beauty is a strong motif in his photography.
Having been published in art books, magazines and newspapers; exhibited in Los Angeles, Toronto and Halifax; Andrei's latest accomplishment is a permanent placement of his photograph in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC.
He enjoys candid, portrait, wedding and night photography and enhances his images using digital tools.
